EquipMETRO is a one-year traineeship aiming to give an adult, of any age, experience and training in ministry. Trainees will be encouraged to be, think and serve like Jesus in their context as well as to explore new areas of service.
This traineeship will be tailored to the specific areas of interest to the trainee (eg. women, children).
This happens as trainees attend the Engage Leaders conference, read Christian books, work through ministry papers, meet one-to-one with their trainer, and serve in ministry in their local church.

Application Process
Applications are open until October 20th
Please complete the following steps:
- Trainee application form
- Trainer application form
- Church application form (to be completed by the Senior Pastor or Session Clerk)
- Ensure your Session Clerk receives this document (EquipMETRO Church Session Information 2025) and sends METRO the Minutes extract.
- Safe Church Requirements
Please make sure that these forms are to be completed only with the knowledge and approval of your church’s Session.
Note- It is the trainer’s responsibility to ensure that each of these forms are completed by October 20th.
